Why not celebrate the arrival of spring and warmer weather that’s perfect for entertaining by mixing up this “Transatlantic Fizz” cocktail, the brainchild of Cocktail Guru, Jonathan Pogash. It features one of our all-time favorite libations, Sandeman Porto.

In a cocktail shaker, muddle  a fresh strawberry  with fresh lime juice and almond syrup. Then add 2 ounces of the reserve port with an ounce of Avion Blanco tequila, adding crushed ice before shaking well. Strain over ice into a highball glass, adding the finishing touch of a layer of champagne. Add a stirstick and garnish with a fresh whole strawberry. Pogash reports this cocktail goes great with toasted Portuguese almonds.
