Three cheers to actor/playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda for helping to spread the word that The Drama Book Shop ( in New York City needed help following a flooding incident. And also for recommending a very charming cocktail recipe book in their inventory by Tim Federle ( called Tequila Mockingbird that we were able to mail order from this Big Apple retail landmark.

This nifty little tome presents cocktail creations inspired by great works of literature, including “One Flew Over the Cosmo’s Nest”, “The Last of the Mojitos”, “Olive ‘N Twist”, “Vermouth the Bell Tolls”, “Gulp-Ivers Travels”, and “The Postman Always Brings Ice.” Life is too short to be too serious, and Tequila Mockingbird reminds the reader that even pouring a libation or two is cause for some laughter!
